Lack.of staff is the worse. I had to bag most of my $250 purchase. I did have help out to my car (I am handicap). Common items were not available. Sale items were not good. I tried to order for pickup but the site was not working despite several attempts. The deli was good, good quality and great help.
This store is close to my house, so I shop here out of convenience.. however they're almost always out of Gluten Free products, and are constantly eliminating GF options. However, my main issue lies with my first ever pick-up order. I was notified FIVE minutes before pick-up that it was going to be late. I left, and mentioned I'd be back at 6:30. I got there at 6:25, and waited until 6:35 when I finally went into the store to get my own items. Half my order was substituted with more expensive items that I ended up denying. I was charged for 7 bags, given 4. Strawberries were smashed and old. The only reason I tried this was a $30off coupon, and I definitely won't be doing it again. The Ken Pratt store is SO much more put together.
I thought a certain problem was limited to a Fort Collins store, but apparently it's everywhere. Safeway stores have, for many years, put expired items on the shelf and in the cases. They also have a problem putting refrigerator items on the shelf, which could result in serious illness in addition to the expired stock.
I cannot understand why this grocery chain keeps doing this, but I call that Mismanagement. Avoid this and other Safeway stores. Go to King Soopers instead.
Online and store doors say open at 6AM. Store is not open and had a few people walk up to the same issue to turn around and leave. Adjust your store hours if your doors are not actually open or retrain your opening staff on how to unlock doors for correct time.
Horrible management and attitude from Eddie Martinez and Co manager Shantel, which are both managers at Safeway S Hover, Longmont. Me and mother were rudely targeted for not being able to lift up the big chucks of meat off the cart and was treated as of she was trying to steal even tho my mother showed them the receipt over $100, and apart from the discrimination both managers Eddie Martinez and shantel began to yell very rudely and disrespectfully to get out of the store, when I tried asking why we got treated like this, Shantel said this was how they were trained! Where is this training coming from? I tried getting their names and both managers refused to give me them, only one of their employees was able to help me with what she knew. Management is the worse I've ever in my life experienced & I will be contacting corporate as well! These were some of the very rudest people I’ve met! Or more like Rudest “MANAGERS”.
